LeBron James’ basket with 39 seconds to go helped the Cleveland Cavaliers finish a sweep of the Hawks in Atlanta, 100-99, on Sunday in Game 4 of the teams’ best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinals series.

With the win, Cleveland advanced to the Eastern Conference finals, where they will meet either Toronto or Miami.

Kevin Love scored 27 points to lead the Cavs, with Kyrie Irving and James netting 21 points each.

Dennis Schroder scored 21 points to lead the Hawks. Paul Millsap added 19 points and nine rebounds for Atlanta. His desperation shot at the buzzer was off the mark.

The series win was the second consecutive sweep for the reigning conference champions in this year’s playoffs. The teams met in last year’s Eastern Conference finals, which also ended in a Cleveland sweep.
