Alberton's annual Railroad Day celebrates community heritage this Saturday, July 16th.

The day will begin with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. at the old Train Depot, now the community center. After that, hit the parade for your fill of free candy starting at 11 a.m.

There will also be an antique car show in the park, food and craft vendors, kids activities, water balloon fight, talent show, teen dance and lip sync battle. As if that's not enough fun for one day, you can also check out the poker walk, art contest, and FREE show at Sportsman's Bar with The Ghost Peppers.

The water balloon fight is set to be huge and will start right after the parade. It's going to be set up like a mini paintball field and will be like capture the flag but with water balloons.

Just show up in Alberton this Saturday and you'll find the fun!
