This year's presentation of Symphony in the Park is coming up on Sunday, and I recently spoke with Missoula Symphony music director Darko Butorac on my Alt 101.5 morning show.

According to Darko, this year's program was inspired by movie soundtracks and Hollywood composers. So expect to hear some fun pieces from Back to the Future, Dances with Wolves, Indiana Jones and even La La Land at the 13th annual event.

If you've attended Symphony in the Park before, you know it's incredibly popular and fills up quickly. Music begins at 7 p.m. this Sunday, August 13th, at Caras Park, so I would recommend getting there before 6 for the best seats. The show is family friendly and FREE, and naturally, you'll have your choice of food & drink vendors.
