The 24th annual Bike Walk Bus Week takes off tomorrow and continues throughout the week as Missoula in Motion hosts different events each day until next Saturday.

From now until September 26, Pedestrian Program Manager Ben Weiss encourages Missoulians to celebrate "healthy transportation" alternatives and get moving.

"One of the things that we're doing for the week is breakfast on the bridges," Weiss said. "So every week day, we will be at a different bridge. I believe we are starting at the Madison Street under-bridge on Monday and moving our way west from there. We'll be serving free coffee and treats for those people who are walking by."

Weiss said there’s about 60 participating businesses and organizations hosting around 100 different raffles and giveaways.

"It's our way of saying 'thank you' for choosing a different way of getting around then driving," Weiss said. "People really look forward to this event."
