Quick story.  We're standin' in line for some wicked awesome Wisconson Beer Cheddar Soup yesterday at Dan's Soup n' San and hear this dude talking about a designated driver service in Missoula.  Being the classy gals we are, we totally intruded on his conversation to find out more.  Glad we did, got a phone number that will likey keep a lot of people we know safe, and out of trouble.

So we met Seth, one of the drivers for this service.  He said basically, he recently lost a good friend to a drunk driving accident and wanted to prevent it from happening to anybody else.  So he's been giving random drunk people rides home.  His group is now up to 3 drivers who will come get you and give you a ride home.  They'll even return the next morning to take your hungover ass to pick up your car.  How rad is that??

Pretty damn rad.  And you know what else?  They're a non-profit and totally run on donations.  So my thought is, even if you see these guys out and about and you don't need them at that very moment, you will need them eventually, so slip 'em a couple bucks for gas. 

Good dudes to know, especially since the MPD & MHP are out on major DUI patrol this Homecoming weekend.

Put this number in your cell phone, 880-1673, save it as something you'll remember to look up when you're hammed, like "Ride".  Or "U Call Us", cuz that's the actual name of the business.
