Hard to believe it has been 14 years since the tragic 9/11 attacks. Crazy how those of us that lived though that day still talk about it like it happened yesterday. I was on my way to class at the UM, and heard the news as I was leaving Aber Hall. Needless to say the entire day's classes were cancelled. My friend Kyle just shared with me a story about how he got to view the 9/11 Museum in New York. He says it is one of the most humbling things you can do, if ever in the Big Apple. One part of his story that really resonated with me, was when he told me about a portion of the tour that shared "radio chatter" audio from the first responders that were inside before the towers fell. One can never imagine the nightmare it must have been, yet they pressed on and fought til the end.

In honor of the men and women that lost their lives trying to save others that day, and to all the men and women that picked up arms and went to war, to ensure it never happens again. This is for you.
