Several crashes continue to occur on Highway 93 as folks commute from Lolo to Missoula. At about 7:50 Tuesday morning, Montana Highway Patrol responded to a head on collision. MHP Sergeant Sean Finley was on the scene.

“There was a pickup heading southbound in the driving lane and there was a pickup truck heading northbound in the passing lane,” Finley said. “The vehicle heading south was attempting to negotiate a slight right hand curve in the roadway, lost control of the vehicle, overcorrected, crossed both lanes of travel, and struck the northbound vehicle head on.”

Both drivers suffered minor injuries and sough medical attention after the crash. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts and Finley says that helped tremendously. 10 total crashes were reported Tuesday morning. There were six on Highway 93 and four on I-90. Finley urges drivers to slow down during these dangerous conditions.
