University of Montana officials are putting the finishing touches on another football season in which all 12 home and away games will be televised.

UM Athletics Director Kent Haslam said Thursday afternoon that an agreement to televise all 12 games is very close.

"We're getting close to having all 12 games televised live here in Montana," Haslam said. "We've got the four conference games that have been picked up by ROOT sports as part of the Big Sky Conference package, and then, Max Media, that's ABC-Fox in Missoula, has picked up the other four non-conference games. They've also now secured the rights to both the North and South Dakota road games for the Griz."

Haslam said negotiations are nearly complete for the final two games.

"We're just about done with the two remaining non-conference games here, including Appalachian State."

Haslam said having all their games televised keeps the Grizzlies in rare company.

"When you think about it, there are so few schools that have all their games televised," Haslam said. "You're talking about the Notre Dames and the big-time schools, so for us each year to have partners who are willing to televise these games, that's really important. As I travel the state, I realize that Grizzly football on TV is an important Saturday tradition, and we're getting close to getting it done."
