A woman is in the Missoula County jail Wednesday morning who allegedly gave assistance to suspect Dawnette Eaton after the incident Monday night where she is accused of backing over and dragging Missoula police officer Deni Poling, seriously injuring her.

34 year-old Kimberly Inman is suspected of picking up Eaton not far from the crime scene and transporting her to the woman's apartment on Grandview. Eaton had received a gunshot wound to the arm from Lt. Richard Stepper during the incident at the East Missoula McDonald's parking lot.

Inman will appear in Missoula justice court at 2:30 this afternoon to be charged with two felonies, obstructing justice and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

Dawnette Eaton is also scheduled to appear this afternoon. At that time we will learn exactly what she is charged with.
