Hellyeah have named their third album Band of Brothers. It's due out in early June and was recorded -- like their first two releases -- at drummer Vinnie Paul's studio in Dallas. A full North American tour will take place in May and June. The only date announced so far is May 6th in Atlanta.

Green Day gave their fans a big Valentine's Day present, as frontman Billie Joe Armstrong tweeted yesterday, "Officially started recording the new record today!" The band tried out a bunch of new material last year during three club shows in Los Angeles, New York and Austin, Texas that most fans thought was a departure from the political themes of 21st Century Breakdown and American Idiot.  Sounds like GD’s goin’ old school for the next album, to my great, great delight.

Marilyn Manson will embark on their first tour in more than three years this spring. It kicks off April 27th in Providence, Rhode Island and hits 17 cities before wrapping up at Rock on the Range on May 20th in Columbus, Ohio. Nothing near us yet but it’s only the first leg, I’d make a road trip to see Manson again.  For sure.

Manson will be supporting a new album called Born Villain, which is due out in the late spring.  We should be getting the new single pretty soon.
