Lou Reed and Metallica have made available a snippet of a song from their forthcoming album, Lulu. It’s called “The View” and it’s available on Amazon.com. The album, a collection of songs Reed wrote for the German theater group Berliner Ensemble’s production of the Lulu Plays, will be out on November 1st, not September 27th as listed on Amazon.
Rise Against and Bad Religion are among the artists on the upcoming Chimes of Freedom: Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International, which is due out November 22nd.
