Angel’s Rock Report–Rise Against [AUDIO]
Rise Against will start the first leg of their U.S headlining tour on January 17th in Austin, Texas. They’ll hit 13 cities on the leg, wrapping up February 5th in Fairfax, Virginia. The second leg, which will take place in the spring, will be announced soon (crossing my fingers…and by “crossing my fingers” I mean I will continue to harass the shit out of this band & their management until they play Missoula.)
Chris Cornell just couldn’t shake the laryngitis he picked up last. He ended up postponing the last two shows on this leg of his acoustic tour Saturday in Tampa and Sunday in Miami. Cornell hopes to reschedule those dates and those in he scrapped in Nashville and Orlando soon.
Cornell is scheduled to kick off his South American tour Wednesday in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The second U.S. leg is set to start November 17th in Albany, New York.
Vince Neil‘s lawyer paid a $1000 fine on behalf of his client yesterday in a Las Vegas courtroom as part of the Motley Crue singer’s plea deal. Neil was pleading guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct stemming from a confrontation he had with his ex-girlfriend in a Las Vegas hotel last March. A more serious misdemeanor charge of battery constituting domestic violence was dismissed. If convicted, Neil could have spent a year in jail.
There are other words I’m seeing here in the news, like Creed, Steven Tyler & Cabbage Patch Kids but I’ll spare you, you’re welcome.
