I recently found the perfect St. Patrick’s Day dessert while perusing Pinterest. I can’t wait to give it a try this year. It combines the best of both Worlds, chocolate and beer. If that’s not enough, the frosting
With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, I’ve been in the green mood. I had already made a New Year’s resolution to start eating healthier. So, I thought it would be really fun if I could combine these two things. I was al
If you haven’t planned your St. Patty’s Day meal yet, don’t worry there is still time. I’ve found a very easy crockpot corned beef and cabbage recipe. All you have to do is throw the ingredients in the crockpot St. Patty’s Day morning and it will be ready when you get home at night from all the holiday’s festivities.
We Missoulians all love this beautiful city we feel lucky enough to call home. We know we are unique and we are proud of it. From being one of the top five greenest places to live, to being just a few short miles away from four ski resorts, to being known as a city for inspiring entrepreneurs, Missoula has it.
If you have a child that is 11 years of age or older, they are eligible to take the hunter education course that is required by the state in order to purchase a hunting license. Due to a law passed in 2003, all people born after the January 1, 1985 must show a certificate of completion for this course in order to get their license.
I grew up eating homemade chocolate chip cookies at least once a week. They were a staple in our house. There was nothing quite like the smell of cookies baking when I came home from school. Although piping hot chocolate chip cookies are very tempting, I enjoyed the cookies much more before they were cooked. Chocolate chip cookie dough is quite possibly the best raw food ever.
Does anyone else live in a house filled with dead animals? I’m sure that I can’t be the only one, given the fact that hunting and fishing are ways of life around here. In my kitchen alone there is an elk head, a moose head, 15 deer shed and a pot rack made from elk sheds. My living room is even worse, consisting of two antelope heads, three elk sheds, a duck, two deer heads, two fox hides, four sets of matching deer sheds, a wolf skull and a wolf hide.
Who doesn’t love the Budweiser Clydesdales? They are pretty hard not to love. These beautiful animals are a symbol of strength and tradition. They were first introduced in 1933 to celebrate the repeal of the Prohibition. The first team of Budweiser Clydesdales carried the first case of post-prohibition beer from the Budweiser brewery in St. Louis to Pestalozzi Street in St. Louis.
Breast Cancer is a very serious issue. According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Breast cancer is also the most commonly diagnosed type of cancer in women and is the second leading cause of death among women.
Most pet owners are positive that their animals understand them. They often treat their pets like a member or the family. I own three dogs and I am no different.
Have you ever heard of el chupacabra? It is a mysterious animal that sucks the blood out of livestock and goats. Its name actually means goat sucker. It cannot be confirmed if el chupacabra actually exists, but sightings of the creature have appeared from Mexico and the United States, to Russia and the Philippines. It has been described as a creature the size of a small bear with a row of spines going down its back.
Montana is a beautiful state, not many states can compare to her. However, when it comes to laws Montana may not quite be on the cutting edge. It seems that our cities in particular might have a little difficulty making sound judgements when it comes to city laws. Some of these laws may have been relevant at one time, but others I’m not sure were ever, or will ever, be relevant.
