DUI Crash Kills Driver and Eight Year-Old Child on I-90 [AUDIO]
A family from Washington traveling east in a red Honda on I-90 early Sunday morning on their way to meet other family members to vacation in Yellowstone Park was struck head-on by a pickup truck traveling the wrong direction. The driver of the pickup truck was ejected from his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. An 8 year-old boy, a passenger in the Honda was also killed in the crash.

Lolo National Forest spokesman Boyd Hartwig says ‘Fire Season has come to Western Montana’, and he has two rapidly growing fires to prove it. The Butler Fire has doubled in size to over 80 acres in the last 24 hours as it burns a few miles from Frenchtown Pond.

Nine New Lightning Fires in Bitterroot Forest [AUDIO]
Recent lightning storms that brought an estimated 3500 lightning strikes in the Bitterroot National Forest area have resulted in at least nine new wildfires, as on Sunday afternoon. Forest spokesman Tod McKay says his office has received hundreds of calls from concerned people about seeing smoke in the forest, most of which are referring to the nine fires than have been confirmed.

At least one Missoula theater-goer was unfazed by the massacre of 12 people and the wounding of 70 others at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado early Friday morning.
