The website CoolMaterial.com ran down a list of the best movies from A to Z. The list was, of course, completely opinionated because taste in movies is opinionated. Free Beer and Hot Wings go through the list giving their own favorite movies and critiquing the websites selections. See what the guys chose after the jump.
My Strange Addiction is, well, a really strange show. In a recent episode, Mark talks about his addiction to inflatable animals. Yes, a grown ass man is addicted to inflatable animals. He bathes them, takes them swimming, talks to them, and even plays music for them. He claims that they all have different personalities, but he assures you that they all do get along with one another.
In true Free Beer and Hot Wings fashion, the guys took a viral internet fad and made it their own. They hopped on board of the Harlem Shake train and made their own rendition of the video. Producer Joe is the catalyst in the video, doing the pelvic thrust while wearing a motorcycle helmet. Once the beat drops, all hell breaks loose.
"Nothing quite like floating down a river, making love to your inner tube." Said no one ever. Well, until now... Gary Busey is the host of his very own YouTube channel called 'The Busey Zone.' On which he makes videos like 'Inner Tubes,' an instructional video on how to make love to an inner tube in public without other people knowing. Busey explains in detail how to modify your inner tube for sexy purposes. What the hell, Busey?
Free Beer and Hot Wings had a little phone trouble earlier this morning. After a few hours of not being able to call into the show, the audience channeled all of their frustration into some really dumb calls.
It's official, we have found the woman with the world's biggest hips! Mikel Ruffinelli is a 5'4" 420 pound mother of 4. Her hips measure an astonishing eight feet round. According to the description of the this YouTube video "The 39-year-old's waist measures just 40 inches but her 100 inch hips are as so wide she can't fit through doorways and has to buy two seats on planes and trains."
Meanwhile in Russia... A drunk girl was running down a street in Russia when she ran right through a pane of glass at a bus stop. The girl either had a plan that involved hilariously bouncing off the glass, or she was completely oblivious of her surroundings and flew down the street in a drunken haze. We believe it is the latter.
A video has gone viral of a group of elderly gents singing "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" at their local Tim Horton's. The group turned out to be a barbershop group that uses the restaurant as a weekly meeting place. That's all well and good, but the REALLY funny part is that Free Beer has admitted to his love of the barbershop style music.
The types of news stories that hit the Canadian airwaves are somewhat different than stories here in the United States. The CBC ran a 2 minute report on a stolen outhouse, or in the Canadian dialect 'oothoose.' The 'oothoose' was stolen a few months after a large party where 30 guys "Christened the thing in their own way." The father and son that built the 'oothoose' said they lost the good memories from that party.
Producer Joe, being the nice young naive boy that he is, has been receiving prostate exams since he was 22-years-old. This all seemed well and good until Joe was informed by his doctor uncle that a prostate exam isn't necessary until the ages of 40 or 50. After that discovery, Producer Joe decided that it might be wise to find a new doctor with less of a carnal desire for butt play. What Joe didn't realize was that apparently no matter what doctor he goes to, something will eventually get weird.
Free Beer and Hot Wings took notice of the motivational posters around the building this morning. The first, and most regal, of the posters is "Focus Eagle." The eagle stands proud and declares that "If you chase two rabbits, both will escape." Next we have the "Leadership Wolf," who inspires people to lead their pack. Other notable exceptions not pictured are "Inspirational Wayne Gretzky" and "Opportunity Golf Course."
A recent study out of Brazil found a link between middle-aged mortality and the ability to sit and stand unassisted. To take the test, you are asked to sit and stand with the least amount of assistance from your limbs. Depending on your performance, you are assigned a score that can be used to determine whether or not you are at risk. If you were to perfectly complete the test, you would sit with your legs crossed and then stand back up without using your arms.
