I got into a long debate with the fiance recently about prairie dog hunting. To her, they are adorable and fluffy little critters that scurry around in their secret underground world that may or may not have rainbows and glitter. To me, they are gnarly little plague carrying rodents that poke holes in the ground that, inevitably someone/something will injure themselves by stepping in. Spring is a great time to go "gopher" hunting in Montana. The reason why, is because the grass is still fairly low to the ground and they are easier to spot. The point I am trying to make is that no matter how cute they are, they are still wild animals and they need to be managed. The following video is a great example of why people should keep in mind that nature can be a sunuvabitch. Try not to laugh.....
