Band Butchers National Anthem at Daytona

A band called Madison Rising were somehow invited to perform 'The Star Spangled Banner' at the NASCAR Nationwide Series in Daytona over the weekend and absolutely slaughtered it.The band, who describe their sound as post grunge/pop rock, claims to be the most patriotic band in the country. Which is very difficult to believe considering how they annihilate our national anthem.

As artists, Madison Rising are most certainly allowed to interpret the song and express themselves however they wish, they just shouldn't do it in public. Judging by the expressions on the drivers' faces, they agree.
