KECI-TV is reporting that Cruz Sebastian Bernardi, one of the men involved in the baseball bat beating and robbery at Jayz Mart convenience store in January, appeared in Missoula District Court Tuesday and changed his plea to guilty.

Bernardi told Judge Karen Townsend that he was the lookout during the robbery in January in which four men assaulted Patrick Bendig, the store clerk, with a baseball bat and stole money out of the cash register to pay their rent,

Bernardi admitted he checked to make sure the store was empty and called the others inside. He will be sentenced in August.
