A benefit dinner and auction are planned for cancer patient Mike Mclean, who has been a Missoula juvenile probation officer for 44 years.

Mike was recently diagnosed with, Osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. Mike's granddaughter, Eryka Mclean, is organizing the fundraiser as her senior project.

Our good friends at the Sunrise Saloon are hosting the event on Saturday, February 17, starting at 1:00 p.m. Some of the cool auction items up for grabs so far include a whole pig, cut and wrapped by Carl Saunders, a 60-minute float in the sensory deprivation tanks at Enlighten, antique dining sets and lots more. Eryka  has set up donation and Facebook page info, or you can send donations in care of Mike Mclean, 10450 Mullan Road, Missoula MT, 59808.

We hope the event is a huge success and wish Mike all the best. Stay strong, Mike. And thanks for all you've done to try to help guide Missoula's youth down the right path all these years!
