Blaze Morning Show–Stuff To Do This Week
Yay, I love busy weeks in Missoula, hate when there’s nuthin’ to do. Lot’s this week starting with Tuesday’s Puddle Of Mudd show at the Wilma. Lansdowne & Pop Evil are the openers, you can still get tickets for $25 at Rockin’ Rudy’s. Doors at 7, show at 8.
Wednesday the Lady Griz play Utah State at 7p, the guys play Thursday against San Francisco at 7p.
The Missoula Maulers are at home Friday to play the Bozeman Icedogs. Don’t know if you’ve been to a game yet this season but the boys are kickin’ more ass than ever and I SWEAR it’s warmer inside the rink. I asked Michael Burks about it, asked if they are intentionally warming up the stands, he said I was probably just juicing up on too many tallboys. Best way to keep warm as far as I’m concerned. ANYWAY, puck drops at 7:30 as always, $10, $5 with student or military ID.
Also on Friday, Brian Regan is doing his stand up show at the University Theatre, I really wanted to go but holy Hell it’s $89 for a pair of tickets. If your rich girlfriend/parents/friends can swing it, tickets are still available at griztix.com, show starts at 7pm. And Voodoo Horseshoes have their CD release party on Friday at The Roxy in Hamilton. All ages, $5.
Saturday….Saturday…hmmm….what’s Saturday again? OH YEAH…mutha effin Griz game day. Griz vs. Central Arkansas Bears, kick off at noon. You can hear the game in it’s entirety on The Blaze, however we will not be allowed to stream it.
The 9th annual Parade of Lights starts at 1pm on Saturday in downtown Missoula. It’s a huge celebration each year, awesome for the kids. The parade with Santa begins at 6pm with the lighting of the tree at the XXX’s after. Find the full schedule of events here.
And the Voodoo Horseshoes CD release weekend continues Saturday at the Dark Horse. No cover and they really do put on a kickin’ set, like those dudes.
That’s all I got for now, be listening to win Puddle Of Mudd tickets, Lady Griz tickets and Griz VIP tailgate passes. You can hear Radio Activity weekday mornings at 7:30.
