It may have surprised a few earlier this month when it was revealed that Buckcherry's Josh Todd and Stevie D were starting up a new group known as Josh Todd & the Conflict, but that apparently is just the beginning of a bigger shakeup in the Buckcherry ranks. Todd's longtime cohort in Buckcherry, guitarist Keith Nelson, and drummer Xavier Muriel have both exited the band.

Stevie D. confirmed the news in a social media posting, while also stating that the band plans to honor their scheduled Buckcherry dates with Kevin Roentgen and Sean Winchester sitting in on their summer shows. Winchester is also the drummer for Josh Todd & the Conflict.

The guitarist's statement on the matter reads as follows:

To our amazing and loyal Buckcherry fans!
As most of you may already know, Josh and I have just completed the debut album from our other band, Josh Todd & The Conflict, which is set to drop in September. We look forward to seeing all of you on the road very soon - keep your eyes peeled for upcoming dates, we'll be adding them shortly.
And, as most of you may already also know, Buckcherry has recently gone through some big changes. As we wish the very best for Keith and Xavier in all of their future endeavors, we want you to be the first to know that we'll be showing up in a huge way for all the BC dates this summer with the help of a couple of our dearest friends, Kevin Roentgen and Sean Winchester.
Josh, Kelly and I can't even begin to thank you ALL enough for your continued love and support. Our fans are the very best, and we are humbled and forever grateful.
Love,
Stevie

In addition, drummer Xavier Muriel offered a statement on his exit via Twitter, which can be read below.

Josh Todd & the Conflict are currently eyeing a fall release for their debut album after recently signing a deal with Century Media. As for Buckcherry, there are a handful of dates planned in May and June. See the scheduled stops here.
