Buy a Shovel, Then Vote
Is anyone else sick of all the political ads? It doesn’t seem to matter what channel you flip to on the TV, you just can’t escape the ads. It seems that every candidate is slinging dump-truck sized loads of mud at each other.
I’m so sick of the candidates nitpicking at each other and taking what one has said out of context. Every ad seems to contradict what his or her opponent has just said about him or her. I don’t know who to believe. It’s getting to the point that they are making me not want to vote for any of them!
Why can’t at least one candidate run a clean campaign? Is it because we as Americans love a scandal? I might enjoy a juicy scandal every now and then, but every week? All these political ads are is one supposed scandal after another. I don’t know how much more I can take. I’m beginning to think their whole goal is to make everyone so crazy that they can’t tell which way is up.
I’ve decided the only thing that can help me this election year is a big shovel. I need something to help me make my way through the mountains of b.s. that have been piling up this past year.
