Bobby Lee Lamere, 37, was arrested early Tuesday morning after fleeing from police after a traffic stop.

According to court documents, Deputy Missoula County Attorney Patty Bower said that Lamere was charged with felony criminal endangerment, after fleeing the traffic stop and placing his wife and a 14 year-old passenger in danger by nearly colliding with a vehicle on Orange Street while fleeing from officers.

The police report states that Lamere exited his vehicle in the alley between 3rd Street and Walnut, and a foot pursuit ensued. When Lamere attempted to climb a fence to elude capture, the officer deployed his taser, and did so once again after Lamere physically resisted arrest.

Lamere was also charged with several misdemeanors after being taken to the Missoula County Jail.

He appeared before Judge Karen Orzech on Tuesday afternoon and was remanded to the jail on $100,000 bond.
