The Chamberlin Rail Jam makes its way back to Missoula for the second year in a row on March 8 and March 9. What began as a project for an internship, has become one of, if not THE most popular winter event in Montana. That popularity is spreading from where it originated in Bozeman six years ago to Missoula.
Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high, there's a land that I've heard of once in a lullaby - and it has perfect weather for a pond hockey tournament.
Needless to say, that land is not Missoula.

The first-ever Missoula Pond Hockey Tournament is on thin ice after a week of warmer weather. Last week's warm weather prompted the tournament's organizers to change the date to this weekend, and potential participants are beginning to wonder if the tournament will continue after the recent heat wave in the Missoula valley.
01/31/2013 Prospect Hill returns to Missoula to play at Monk's on April 5th with High Voltage and Airstream Safari. Prospect Hill's hit single Come Alive is featured in Sirus XM's top 10 Big Uns and only continues to grow. Missoulians may remember this band when they played the Wilma last year and now continue to climb the radio charts.

Hockey is known for being a rough sport. It is the definition of full contact. I don’t think I’ve ever met a hockey player who had all his teeth. Hockey players are notorious for getting in fights and getting injured. So, I’ve dug up a list of professional hockey players, who sustained injuries off the ice, instead of on.
Originally, the 2013 Missoula Pond Hockey Tournament was scheduled for January 26-27, but due to dissatisfactory weather that could impact ice conditions on our rinks, we have changed the date for our tournament to February 2-3.
