Dave Grohl recently took to the Foo Fighters‘ official website expressing sincere gratitude toward the band’s fans for a banner year.
Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi and Blink-182 have been revealed as the headliners for the The Bamboozle 2012, set for May 18-20. The festival, now in its 10th year, will also return to North Beach Asbury Park in New Jersey for the first time since 2005.
With pop acts seemingly getting all the attention these days, seeing Foo Fighters representing rock in the 2012 Grammy Awards is a breath of fresh air for fans. The band is nominated in multiple categories for the 54th annual Grammy Awards, thanks to their latest album ‘Wasting Light,’ which is up for the prestigious Album of the Year trophy.

The Westboro Baptist Church, which is notorious for picketing the the funerals of U.S. military personnel and blaming the servicemen’s deaths on the United States’ acceptance of homosexuality, got a taste of its own medicine on Friday when the Foo Fighters staged a counter protest of the church’s picketing of the band’s show that night in Kansas City.

At a recent show during the iTunes Festival in London a fight broke out on the floor. Instead of letting the rent-a-cops and security handle it, he took matters into his own hands.

You've probably noticed the pattern, for each Foo album there's a minimum of one goof ass video. The premiere of the video for "Walk", the last track on the "Wasting Light" album, just debuted, scroll down and check it out!
In other "Walk" news, the song is featured in a sequence on the new Thor movie, but isn't on the soundtrack.
