07/15/2012 The thunderstorms we have witnessed this weekend have brought some decent rain. But not enough to flood the streets. In years past, I have attempted to kayak Hillview. Back in 2002 I was living up near the top of Hillview and when a BIG storm would roll through, a guy could almost float down the street. In Russia, they take it to the next level and surf down the streets.

07/09/2012 Imagine if you could go back in time and talk to your 12 tr old self. What would you say? I would probably tell myself not to listen to my buddy when he tells me that "she is a cool chick, she doesn't seem crazy at all." Or "don't drink the tequila with the scorpion in the bottle." Either way it would be an informative conversation. Or maybe not.

07/03/2012 Looks like our weather tomorrow will be perfect for the 4th of July holiday. Forecast is calling for clear skies and a high of 77 degrees. Not to bad considering the rest of the country has been experiencing some extreme weather. Temperatures in Kansas have been reported into the triple digits and a recent storm on the East Coast have knocked out power to millions of people.
07/02/2012 Don't lie! You have done things with fireworks that are probably not safe. I have a list longer than my arm, full of stupid things I have done. For example, trying to send a grasshopper into space on a bottle rocket. Or stuffing a huge missile into a stuffed animal's butt. But luckily I still have all my fingers. This 4th of July holiday, make sure to obey the law and be safe. Or you may end up like the guys in the following compilation.
06/28/2012 When Freemo's was still open, it used to be the mecca for those stricken with a serious case of "the munchies." CiCi's pizza is a chain a lot like Freemo's. It offers up a buffet of pizza, salad and pasta. You can even make a special request on specific types of pizza you would like. 06/21/2012 I remember when I got my Wisdom Teeth out. I remember them putting me under and vaguely remember starting to wake up during the surgery. I can remember the sound of bones crunching and then I heared someone say "Hit him again." I pictured a cartoon cat hitting me with a mallet and BOOM I was back to sleep. When I woke up I was in a whole other world. Stoned as a drugged up test rat.
