Actor Christopher Lee, best known for his roles in the 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Star Wars' films, has recorded his second heavy metal album, 'Charlemagne: The Omens of Death.' The 90-year-old thespian has seen his music career evolve in recent years and he says his sophomore set is more of a fully formed metal creation.

Even though James Hetfield was recently quoted as saying Metallica hadn't started writing for their next album, fans shouldn't worry about creativity being a problem. Hetfield says in a new interview with Billboard that the band has enough material to start an album right now, but the biggest issue is finding time in their schedule to focus on it.

Massive Tornado Destroys Area Near Oklahoma City; At Least 51 Killed [UPDATED]

An enormous tornado with a debris cloud two miles wide tore through the metropolitan area just south of Oklahoma City on Monday afternoon.

UPDATE 9:28 p.m. EST: At least 51 people were killed in the storm, including seven children from Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore, according to KFOR in Oklahoma City. The news station reported that 75 student and staff were inside the school when the storm struck. Officials said Monday night that the search of the rubble remaining of the school had turned to a recovery mission.

In many ways, Foo Fighters’ second album, ‘The Colour and the Shape,’ is really their first. Or at least their first as a real band. Dave Grohl made the group’s 1995 self-titled debut as a solo project -- basically demos recorded by himself in a Seattle studio with a producer in less than a week. Grohl played all of the instruments (except for one guitar part) and dug up a handful of old songs he had written when he was in Nirvana. The new songs he wrote tried to come to terms with Kurt Cobain’s death. Foo Fighters weren’t supposed to be the next chapter in Grohl’s career, but they turned out that way.

After nine seasons, 'The Office' closed up shop last night (May 17), but not without giving the cast of characters a hard-rocking send off. The finale centered around a pair of events -- Dwight and Angela's wedding and the shooting of DVD bonus content for the documentary -- with the office co-workers reuniting a full year after the series penultimate episode. As expected for a series finale, there were a number of poignant moments, and luckily for rock fans they were soundtracked by some harder rocking favorites.
