Three people were killed and more than 100 injured on Monday afternoon when two explosions went off near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Rescue organizations have gathered to help and at the the tragic scene, but how can you help?

9 p.m. (EST): The final press conference of the day with Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis and various other officials just concluded. The FBI is now leading investigations of the events. Davis confirmed that three people were killed in today's blasts.
CNN is reporting that one of the victims killed was an 8-year-old boy. The Wall Street Journal had reported that as many as five other unexploded devices were found around Boston, but investigators now doubt that they were actually bombs.
The rock world was saddened over the weekend to hear the news that Deftones bassist Chi Cheng had passed away. The musician died after spending four years in either a coma or semi-conscious state as the result of a devastating 2008 car accident. After reactions and condolences from many in the rock community, the first official statement from Deftones themselves came today via a message from the band's guitarist Stephen Carpenter.

That's right, Steel Panther are threatening to perform at the wedding of Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger and pop princess Avril Lavigne.
Fans lucky enough to attend last night's taping of ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' were treated to an outdoor gig by Alice in Chains. The televised portion of the show aired AIC's performance of their current single 'Stone' off their upcoming album 'The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here.' However, the band also rocked out their classic track 'Man in the Box' and their new album's first single, 'Hollow,' with the video of both posted on the official 'Kimmel' website. Machine Head have been dealing with some serious bassist issues since the departure of original member Adam Duce. The band recently took to their Facebook page and invited fans to submit audition tapes, and although Machine Head have yet to find a new musician to hold down the low end for their upcoming Mayhem Festival dates, the metal titans will be accepting YouTube videos until April 19.
