10/09/2012 The Red Bull Stratos Mission has been aborted due to high winds. According to the mission's website "Today, the launch of the Red Bull Stratos capsule had to be stopped at 11:42 a.m. local time in Roswell, New Mexico just before Felix Baumgartner's giant 30 million cubic foot balloon had been fully inflated and made ready for take off. From early morning the team postponed the launch due to strong winds at 700 feet - the balloon's top - waiting for the right weather window to open. The launch was scheduled for 11:40 a.m., the balloon inflation had begun, and then gusty winds picked up and made a launch impossible."
10/08/2012 Human beings always try to push the limits of what we can do. Years ago people would have never dreamnt of flight let alone space exploration. Now we are about to witness a human being skydive from space and attempt to break the speed of sound.
We're pretty sure every NFL stadium has at least five fights during a game. The fights usually have little to do with what's going on on the field.
As you may have heard, hobos and miscreants are in charge of refereeing NFL games now! Or, rather, the NFL has decided to use high school referees as replacements while it negotiates with the actual referees' union, which has led to the occasional minor controversy. And while Monday's night's disastrous ending to the Packers-Seahawks game is probably the pinnacle (or nadir) of this sad saga, there were already plenty of questionable, puzzling and downright infuriating officiating decisions leading up to it.

There's a lot of angry Green Bay Packers fans right now, and rightfully so -- It's pretty bad when even Seahawk fans are agreeing with you.
I'm a huge Seahawks fan - like so huge that I was jumping up and down in the middle of Buffalo Wild Wings as it appeared that the Seahawks had beat the Green Bay Packers in tonight's (Sept. 24) Monday Night Football game. However, after seeing the replay, it became rapidly clear to me, and the other Seahawks fans in the bar, that we had nothing to cheer about.
