Celebrate America’s Wilderness Missoula Style [EVENT]

We heard from our girl Heather over at the U.S. Forest Service and she wants to invite Blaze listeners to a wilderness event this weekend.

The USDA Forest Service and their wilderness partners are inviting everyone to celebrate America’s Wilderness, Missoula style! This is a free event on Saturday, September 20th, from 11 am to 4 pm to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act.

Musical guests begin with the Black Mountain Boys followed by Jack Gladstone and the legendary Rob Quist. The afternoon also includes traditional wilderness demonstrations and opportunities for students to present their own thoughts on wilderness. Local food vendors will be on-site so bring a chair and join us for a fun-filled Saturday at the new, beautiful Silver Park, located on the Clark Fork River next to Ogren Park Allegiance Field Osprey Ballpark.
