Believe it or not, Tool front man Maynard James Keenan turns 50 years old this spring. He's having a huge celebration in May, and you're invited.

Maynard's calling the gig 'Cinquanta' and will be performing with his side bands, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles on May 10th. I find it interesting that he has chosen to have his party in the very city he claims to loathe, perhaps he's being ironic.

In November, A Perfect Circle released their box set 'A Perfect Circle Live: Featuring Stone and Echo' along with a greatest hits compilation called 'Three Sixty'. Last summer, Puscifer released a remix album, which is bananas as the original versions are already pretty trippy, remixed they're a mind blower. That album is called 'All Re-Mixed Up' and also put out a live DVD titled 'What Is...'.

As for Tool, MJK is promising a new album is in the works and will be released later this year. With all this going on, how does he find time to make wine and shop for cowboy hats?

Join Maynard and a few hundred of his closest friends for Cinquanta in Los Angeles. The trip includes round trip airfare, hotel, tickets to the show and $500 in beer money. The deadline to enter is Friday at 10pm.
