Colder Weather Means Soups, Stews and Chili
With the sudden temperature drops we have seen lately, it’s been fantastic bringing out the comfy sweatshirts that have been hiding at the back of our closets. Along with the sweatshirts come the warm comfort foods that we all associate with fall. Like some delicious soups, stews and chili.
To me there is nothing better than a delicious warm bowl of something to warm you up after being out in the cold. That’s why last week as soon as the weather started to change I was quick to make “Frito Pie” for dinner. Something about chili and cheese covering a bowl of Frito chips is just amazing.
I’m even more excited this year with the addition of soups at the new Cash & Carry location in Missoula. I noticed they have Clam Chowder that is made by Ivar’s out of Seattle, as well as some delicious looking Cream of Broccoli soup. Which may not sound the best, but it really tastes good. Bring on the Soups, Stews and Chili’s!
