Ya' know those abandoned couches you see around town? Especially during the prime couching season when students are moving out of Missoula? I love those cootie, rain soaked sofas.

Not because I want to take them home, but because they provide an excellent photo op. Currently I'm stalking a gorgeous garbage filled white couch on Blaine and Beckwith and a chair on 5th. Oh! There's also one off 6th near the tracks where somebody has piled up all of the garbage from their trailer and have stacked a beautiful brown love seat on the top. I don't know how they got it up there, but I need to get on top of it (that's what she said).

It's a special moment when I spot a piece of abandoned furniture and actually have the two key elements; good lighting and a photographer. I'd say the third key element is time to stop, but there's always time to stop for a couch conquest.
