With football season here, we’re all looking for game-day treat recipes. The easier these recipes are the better. It doesn’t get much better than delicious hot meat on your favorite team’s game day.

If you love cocktail weenies marinating in special sauce all through your football game, then you’ll love meatballs. You can either substitute these meatballs for weenies, you can mix them together and let them both stew in their delicious crockpot juices.

Crockpot Football Meatballs

1/4 cup water

2 eggs

2 pounds burger

1 box stuffing mix

1 jar of grape jelly

1 bottle of chili Sauce

In a bowl, mix together water, eggs, burger and stuffing until combined. Form into 1 to 1 1/2 inch balls, and then bake on a foil covered cookie sheet at 400 degrees until they reach 160 degrees with a meat thermometer.

You can put these straight into your crockpot from here, or if you are making these ahead of time, you can freeze them and take them out on game day and throw them in your crockpot then. Add the grape jelly and chili sauce and put your crockpot on low (if meatballs were frozen) or warm (if coming straight from the oven). You can add the cocktail weenies at this time too.
