Dr. Johnny Dispro What?

Soooo, Red Hot Chili Peppers are working on a new album.   Typically the last thing bands do is name the album.  They've gone ahead and done that first.  New album is called

Dr. Johnny Skinz's Disproportionately Rambunctious Polar Express Machine-head.  Now I reckon they'll change this at some point, however it's very likely that they'll stick with it.  It's the Chili Peppers, they're goofy as Americans who sail pirate waters, just nuts.

Anthony Kiedis says they're approaching this album in a different way, as Flea is studying music theory at USC.  In an upcoming feature in Spin magazine, Kiedis says, "Before, some of our jams were a bit hit-and-miss. On this record, a decent number of songs were actually thought out and planned in a way we had never done before. That is, with Flea's new knowledge of music theory, we explored the writing process with a bit more precision."

Sounds mathematically epic.  Supposed to be out this fall.  We'll keep ya posted.
