You never know what you're going to get when you invite the crowd up onstage with you for a performance. What the Dropkick Murphys got during their recent set in New York was at least one audience member who made his way onstage and began performing the Hitler salute as the band rocked out a cover of AC/DC's 'T.N.T.'

As expected, this did not sit well with the group and according to reports bassist-singer Ken Casey made his way over to the offending audience member and shoved him to the ground, after which an apparent beat down and melee ensued. Though fan-shot footage of the incident is not exactly clear, it appears as though the concertgoer was eventually ejected, but not before the band had to cut their performance of the song short.

After the incident, one of the band's members can be heard telling the audience, "Nazis are not f---ing welcome at a Dropkick Murphys show."

After stopping the show to deal with the matter, the band picked right up and completed the evening, with a good size portion of the audience still onstage, with their song 'Citizen CIA.' Two fan-shot videos of the incident can be seen below.
