According to Longmont, CO, police, first responders were treating an 86-year-old woman in her home around 3am on Sunday when they heard the back-up noise of the ambulance they arrived in.

After investigating, they discovered that the vehicle had been stolen by 51-year-old Robert Elmar Taylor. Police pursued the ambulance for about six blocks before the driver finally pulled over.

Taylor had bloodshot eyes, couldn't stand up straight and reeked of alcohol, said police. When asked to explain the theft, he reportedly mumbled something about being cold. Hey, we hear you. Nothing warms you up faster than a little adrenaline rush from committing grand theft auto. Thankfully, jail is pretty warm, too.
