Am I the only one who is ready for spring, warm weather and backyard barbecues? Ever since the groundhog poked his little head out and didn’t see his shadow, I’ve been eagerly awaiting sunny days. If you want to celebrate spring, with a little bit of alcohol, you should try a few of these recipes. Not only are they sure to be delicious, they are also sure to bring life to the party.

  • Smashed strawberries

Soak whole strawberries in chocolate flavored vodka for 24 hours. Once your strawberries are done soaking, dip the strawberries in melted chocolate and then let the chocolate set.

  • Blitzed bears

Pour gummy bears into a bowl and pour vodka over the gummy bears until they are just barely covered. Put a lid on the bowl and let the bears sit for 24 hours in the fridge.

  • Plowed pops

Heat 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly. Toss 5 cups of your favorite fruit in a blender while sugar mixture is cooling. Once sugar mixture has cooled, add 3/4 of mixture and 1 cup of your favorite wine to the pureed fruit and stir. Pour the mix into molds and place in the freezer until frozen.

  • Wasted watermelon

Take a whole watermelon and poke holes in it. You want to make the holes are large enough so you can fit a funnel inside. Pour your favorite liquor in the holes. Wait a few hours and then repeat. Let the watermelon sit for 24 hours in the fridge.
