If you need proof that everyone loves Doritos, look no further than this: a deputy in the Florida Keys recently rescued an endangered species of deer that had a bag of the snack food stuck on its head. Unfortunately, we'll have to speculate whether the deer prefers classic flavor or Cool Ranch.

Two Monroe County sheriff's deputies came upon the Key deer while on patrol last Saturday and noticed that its entire head was stuck in a Doritos bag.

The deer, which is the smallest of the Virginia white-tailed deer subspecies, reportedly allowed Deputy Joshua Gordon to remove the bag without incident after he snapped a cellphone pic.

Key deer normally eat a diet of local plants such as red and black mangroves and thatch palm berries, but this one had a taste for something much saltier.

"It must have wanted that last chip in the bottom of the bag," said sheriff's spokesperson Becky Herrin.

Yeah, we've embarrassed ourselves for the last chip too, but thankfully no one was around to see it.
