The band has recorded seven albums\, including two each for Epic Records and Universal Republic. They started out a Southern hip-hop duo called Rehab and were literally a product of their namesake. Original members Danny Boone and Brooks Buford\, both recovering alcoholics and drug addicts\, met at a local rehab facility and connected over their love of music. Mashing rap with rock\, the duo released their debut album\, Southern Discomfort\, in 2000 on the Sony label. Cee-Lo\, Goodie Mob\, and Cody ChesnuTT were some of the guests on the album\, which would spawn the Top 15 modern rock hit "It Don't Matter." Two years were spent on the road supporting the album\, including a stint on the Warped Tour\, and then the duo splintered. Boone retained the name and recruited four veteran musicians for a new Rehab. Now a quintet with Boone as the lone singer/rapper—and also using his birth name\, Danny Alexander—Rehab signed with Arshid Entertainment and released the ambitious Graffiti the World in 2005. The first 4+ kilometers of the 5K and 10K course are the same. Just after going under the railroad tracks near Hickory Street the two courses separate with the 10K continuing out into the River Road area and the 5K heading back to the finish. This event is for competitive and non-competitive runners. Awards are for both distances and will be given to top 3 overall as well as 1st place in each age division.  There are 6 age divisions.  Those who choose to participate in the Donut 5K challenge will be required at each mile mark to eat the number of donuts for which mile they are at.  That means 1 donut at mile 1\, 2 donuts at mile 2\, and 3 donuts at mile 3.  A total of a half dozen donuts will be consumed.  Donuts must be consumed at that mile mark and cannot be eaten while running.  Awards will be given to the top overall male and top overall female in the donut division.  Entry fee is $15 for the traditional 5K and 10K and $17 for the donut 5K challenge.  Entry includes a raffle ticket for great Montana Made products along with a meal ticket for the BBQ featuring Montana Kobe Beef Burgers.  All details including registration and schedule and be found online at www.montanamaderun.org.
