DESCRIPTION:  Ex-Korn Guitarist to Tour with Project 86\, the Letter Black  Brian “Head” Welch once made a musical living as the lead guitarist of Korn\, but when drug addictions and other troubles got the best of him\, he found solitude and health in Christ and wound up leaving his Korn band-mates to pursue other avenues.    Welch still makes cathartic alternative metal with his popular project\, Head. Now\, the lyrics depict a man who has grown in his faith and overcome every hindrance to reach victory. It’s a powerful message and killer music\, and the combination builds on the ultra-aggressive innovations of his previous band instead of simply repeating them.    These days\, Welch spends his time as a motivational speaker and\, of course\, touring with Head. Head just announced a North American tour with rockers Project 86\, the Letter Black and the Wedding. The jaunt kicks off Sept. 4 in North Platte\, Neb.\, and currently runs through Sept. 25 in Amarillo\, Texas. SUMMARY:Rehab- Live in Missoula
DESCRIPTION:    Rehab brings a Southern rock\, country\, and alternative hip hop sound to Missoula October 6th. The band has recorded seven albums\, including two each for Epic Records and Universal Republic.    They started out a Southern hip-hop duo called Rehab and were literally a product of their namesake. Original members Danny Boone and Brooks Buford\, both recovering alcoholics and drug addicts\, met at a local rehab facility and connected over their love of music. Mashing rap with rock\, the duo released their debut album\, Southern Discomfort\, in 2000 on the Sony label. Cee-Lo\, Goodie Mob\, and Cody ChesnuTT were some of the guests on the album\, which would spawn the Top 15 modern rock hit "It Don't Matter." Two years were spent on the road supporting the album\, including a stint on the Warped Tour\, and then the duo splintered.    Boone retained the name and recruited four veteran musicians for a new Rehab. Now a quintet with Boone as the lone singer/rapper—and also using his birth name\, Danny Alexander—Rehab signed with Arshid Entertainment and released the ambitious Graffiti the World in 2005. Over the next few years\, a cut from their debut album\, "Sittin' at a Bar\," would turn into a jukebox favorite. The Epic label got wise\, re-released their debut album and renamed it Sittin' at a Bar\, all without the band's permission. To fight this unauthorized reissue the band re-recorded its now famous drinking song and renamed it "Bartender Song." This version would end up on a 2008 version of Graffiti the World released by the major label Universal. Rehab stuck with Universal for their 2010 album Welcome Home. After forming a “dream team” of metal musicians\, the band self-funded the album- producing it entirely themselves. Death Punch eventually signed with The Firm/ Prospect Park. After months of relentless touring—including a show-stealing set at 2008’s Mayhem Festival—Five Finger Death Punch became the hottest new band in metal.    Five Finger Death Punch has fine-tuned their songs more than ever\, and their sound has progressed immensely on their latest offering. Guitarist Zoltan Bathory puts it best: "We've matured but we're still the same band. Maybe we've gotten closer to traditional metal."    The band's live show is more incendiary than ever. Rome\, a 21-year-old northern California native\, was introduced to Gaugh and Wilson in 2008. Last year\, a handful of jam sessions led to an impromptu show at a small club in Nevada flooring a packed-house crowd later officially announcing themselves as Sublime with Rome.  One of the most notable and successful ska-punk bands of all time\, Sublime has sold over 17 million albums worldwide with the group’s music remaining in constant radio rotation across the country.
