The Danish Thunder Gods Volbeat have rolled heavy in into the American rock scene in 2011. Already a none rock powerhouse in their native Denmark. Volbeat is gaining fans from coast to coast. With there fusion of Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash blended with AC/DC, Social Distortion, Aerosmith and Breaking Benjamin’s they create a mix of rock and roll, rockabilly, heavy metal and punk. Songs from their latest album, “Beyond Hell/Above Heaven” have seen tremendous air play on rock stations across the country including “Fallen” and “The Mirror and The Reaper”.
Volbeat’s current members are Michael Poulsen (vocals), Jon Larsen (drums), Thomas Bredahl (guitar) and Anders Kjølholm (bass).
Volbeat’s Grand Summer Tour kicked off in Ontario, Canada on July 24th and will wrap up in early September in Anaheim California at the legendary House of Blues.
