Shinedown are not only releasing a new album, Amaryllis, on March 27th -- there's also publishing an e-book. For Your Sake: Inside the Making of Shinedown's Amaryllis is 75 pages long and will be available through the iTunes store for iPads. The e-book is broken down into four chapters and combines text and photos as well as videos with detailed commentary on making the album.

Here's this morning's Rock Report with the audio of singer Brent Smith explaining the concept of the e-book.

Call Me No One, the new side project from Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery and drummer Morgan Rose, will release its debut album Last Parade on June 5th. The first single, "Biggest Fan," should arrive at The Blaze in about a month. There's still no word yet if the duo will tour behind the album.

Ride for Dime Florida, a charity motorcycle ride in honor of late Pantera guitarist "Dimebag Darrell" Abbott, will be held March 31st in Tampa, Florida.
