- Korn bassist Fieldy has just released a music video for his solo bass track “Zibba Zibop.” The cut is from Fieldy’s long-awaited jazz fusion album, Bassically, which will be released Nov. 17. Listen to the track here.

- Kataklysm have re-signed a worldwide record deal with Nuclear Blast. A new album from the Canadian metallers, Mediations, is coming in April 2018. “We stand here as a humbled band with lots to be thankful for, one of those deserving of our gratitude is our label Nuclear Blast and the people who work there,” Kataklysm says in a statement. “They have always stood behind Katakylsm from the day they discovered us as teenagers. Fast forward 25 years to their current staff, who are just discovering us. - Former Journey drummer Deen Castronovo is the newest member of The Dead Daisies. "Deen is here in Nashville with us where we are beginning the recording of the new album today,” the band says in a statement. “We'd like to thank Brian Tichy who has decided to pursue other projects next year. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors. We cannot wait for you guys to hear this new album we are working on! It will be a real bone-shaker!"

- We know Stone Temple Pilots will be returning to the stage Nov. 14 in Los Angeles, but the mystery of the band’s new singer is still unsolved.
