The Bicycle Hangar has a complete service department to help you get that old bike roadworthy again or keep your new bike in fine running condition. ALL of our bikes come with FREE tune-ups FOR LIFE for the original owner. You read that right. For however long you own the bike, you will never have to pay for service as long as you purchased it from them. How many other bike shops and department stores can say that?

Their tune-up fee for bikes not purchased from them is the lowest in Missoula at $49.95. We don’t skimp on service in the tune-up; it includes truing both wheels, adjusting the brakes and derailleurs, lubing the chain and cables, filling up the tires, adjusting all bearing surfaces (headset, crank and hubs), cleaning the bike until it sparkles, and a full safety inspection. Their service rates for installation or repair outside of the regular tune-up adjustments are competitive and reasonable, and they are happy to give free estimates on any repair.

The turnaround on repairs is typically the day after the bike is dropped off (unless we have to order parts). There is no need to call ahead and schedule service, as we take bikes first come, first serve. We’ll look over the bike when you bring it in to determine what exactly needs to be done, and chat with you about any issues you've been having that we can help to resolve. If the bike needs anything outside of what we originally estimated, we’ll be sure to give you a call and discuss all your options for improving the performance of your bike.
