Brett French Outdoor editor of the Billings Gazette talks about efforts in the Mt Legislature to roll elk archery in MT back to 2007 levels, and issuing more limited archery permits unless elk population are at management objective levels.
Dale from Don’s in Lewistown says access is still good, but the trout bite has backed off on the ponds, and FT Peck has been on fire.
Dallas at Highline Cleaners in Chester says folks there are some good reports on Tiber for northerns, perch, and walleye’s.

Jack Baker President of the North American Ice Fishing Circuit at the Annual West Yellowstone Hebgen Lake Ice Fishing Tournament says there are 69 teams out this year so far, and looks to be a good tournament.
Mary Beth Kibler of Kibler Outfitting says the Hellcreek Marina Ice Fishing Tournament is shaping up nicely.
Ron Aashiem says March 15th application packets for elk and buck deer are available at licensed providers.
Shelby from Rocky Mountain Supply in Dillon describes the Coyote Hunting Derby taking place this week end and says they have 44 teams out.
