Foo Fighters' promotional run continues, as Dave Grohl and crew made a trip to daytime TV, playing on 'Ellen.' The band dug a little deeper into their 'Sonic Highways' album, delivering a hard rocking performance of 'In the Clear' for the daytime crowd. The performance can be seen above.

The appearance also allowed for an interview slot with Dave Grohl as the rocker shared stories of being a rocker and a parent while speaking with Ellen DeGeneres. Grohl revealed his daily schedule, which includes getting the kids ready for school and carting them off in a minivan before coming home and dedicating the remainder of his day to music.

Grohl also revealed that while he's tried to turn his kids on to cool things like The Beatles and the Rolling Stones, they've commandeered his radio to hear things like Meghan Trainor's 'All About That Bass' and Katy Perry songs. Foo Fighters just released the new album 'Sonic Highways,' which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and is currently available for purchase here.
