A couple weeks back, Foo Fighters announced a summer 2015 North American tour, where they will be playing large venues like stadiums and amphitheaters. Now the band has added more dates to that tour, and announced a concert later this week at a much smaller venue.

Foo Fighters will be playing a show at Irving Plaza in New York this Friday, Dec. 5. Tickets, priced at just $20, won't go on sale until the day of the show, and will only be available at the Irving Plaza box office. Prior to the band going onstage at 10PM, the New York City episode of their HBO series 'Sonic Highways' will be screened.

The New York episode is the last one of the 'Sonic Highways' series, which chronicles the band traveling the country, interviewing local musicians and recording songs in various cities. It airs Friday night at 11PM ET on HBO (watch preview above). Foo Fighters also played a club show in Seattle last week to mark the airing of the Seattle episode of the series.

The 'Sonic Highways' album was released Nov. 10, with Loudwire's review calling it "eight songs that are distinctively Foo Fighters and representative of the locations in which they were recorded."

In addition to the Irving Plaza show, Foo Fighters also announced some additions to their summer 2015 tour. They have added second dates in Denver (Aug. 16), Anaheim (Sept. 19) and Los Angeles (Sept. 22). The pre-sale is already under way, with tickets going on sale to the public on Friday (Dec. 5).
