After a decade-long absence, Frontier airlines will be back in Missoula soon with non-stop flights to one of the nation's busiest airport hubs.

"We will be bringing service to Missoula International Airport, effective June 13, with non-stop service to Denver," said Frontier Airlines spokeswoman Kate O'Malley. "We had service in the early 90's when we first started with Frontier, but now we're coming back and we're really excited about it."

Frontier says it plans to stay in the Missoula community for the long haul.

"We are bringing back year-round service and planning on staying committed to the area," O'Malley said. "When service starts in June we'll be offering four weekly flights. From Missoula you can fly to Denver on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday. We have introductory pricing right now, through Wednesday: $65 each way for non-stop service to Denver."

So far, Denver is the only location that Frontier airlines will be flying to, but that could change in the future. Once in Denver, Missoulians can then fly to 30 other Frontier destinations.
