"Goonies never die," and the same goes for drive in movies. The "Drive in Grill Out" is back for it's second year sponsored by the Axmen. It is all part of the annual Missoula BBQ Festival, put on by the Missoula College Culinary Arts Program. The festival kicks of with the "Drive in Grill Out" on Friday September 23rd at the Fairgrounds.

According to the official website

This event sold out last year and is sure to be an even bigger event this year.  Bring back the nostalgia of the drive-in movie and enjoy a classic movie, exactly the way it was meant to be seen, from the luxury of your own car!

The featured presentation this year, is the 1985 cult classic "Goonies."

Gates are at 6p and the movie starts at approximately 8p (DUSK)

Admission is $30 per vehicle. So pack your car with as many people and your grill. You are encouraged to tailgate before and during the movie. You can also purchase pulled pork and the classic movie staples (popcorn, soda and candy) from the students of the Missoula College Culinary Arts program.

NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL. Drinks will be available for purchase from The Rhino at the event.

If you have lived under a rock the last 31 years, and haven't seen the movie "Goonies," check out the trailer and we will see you September 23rd at the Fairgrounds for the "Drive In Grill Out."
